Early stirrings of our next adventure! Members of the collective will be travelling to San José del Cabo, Mexico to join member Carol McQuaid who lives there part of the year. There we will be painting our inspirations on a series of doors to be exhibited together at local gallery Pez Gordo. Another intrepid venture for our group. Watch for more details!
Members of the collective will be hanging some of their most recent smaller works at Off The Rail Brewing Co for the month of October. So come inside from the Autumn chill, have a brew or two and get cozy with the ‘Bare ‘Minimum’ creations of these local artists. You might even end up going home with one of them.
Opening reception with artists in attendance is on October 15 6-8pm.

13FOTG is honoured to be participating in many ways the during the popular Harmony Arts Festival this August. A display of 10" paintings by members will be on show as part of the exhibition at the SILK PURSE gallery. Some members will also have pieces in the festival GROUP SHOW. West Vancouver's first commissioned WALL MURAL, designed by our member Morgane Billault, will be painted by the group and will be completed in time for the ART BEAT party. Collective members will also be collaborating with participating local retail hosts for the ART BEAT, displaying some of our individual works in the various shops and businesses. We are especially looking forward to sharing our 'Graniti Murales' experience with our SLIDESHOW/VIDEO and TALK at the Ferry Building Gallery.

An engaging exhibition of current works by 13FOTG members in various mediums curated by Janice Cotter. The exhibition will also include a display of the group's finished mural images from the Graniti Murales residency, a video/slide show and artist talk/tour and a group scrapbook of memories and inspirations from Sicily.
Three participating 13FOTG members Deb Bakos, Tannis Hopkins and Lori Popadiuk will be exhibiting new works at this fun 3 day art salon held in the large warehouse of artists' studios 1000 Parker Street. Tickets for the lively 'collector's night' opening on Friday night available through the website. There will also be a silent auction and a small art wall with partial proceeds going to Anxiety BC. In addition to the hall displays, artists will open their studios on Saturday and Sunday.

Presented by Hemlock Printers, you will explore keystone species in both terrestrial and aquatic ecosystems through a giant interactive colouring book mural.
